Scope
This policy outlines your rights and our obligations regarding the return of products, refunds and exchanges. It applies to items purchased directly from our website. Customised or installation services may have separate terms.
Return Window
You can request a return or refund within [7] days of the delivery date (or receipt date, if shipped). After this period, returns may not be accepted except in the case of faults covered by manufacturer warranty.
Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible:
- The item must be unused, in the same condition as received, and in its original packaging with all accessories, manuals and tags included.
- The item must match the description shown on the site.
- You must provide proof of purchase (order number).
- For electrical components (solar batteries, inverters) any warranty or service instructions must not have been tampered with.
Non-Returnable Items
The following may not be returned:
- Policies & Testimonials & FAQS
- Items that have been installed, used, or tampered with in a way not authorised by the manufacturer.
- Items damaged by misuse, improper installation, or failure to follow instructions.
- Items explicitly marked as non-returnable at time of purchase.
- Sale items offered “final sale” (if so indicated).
Returns Process
- a) Contact our support team within the return window at hello@optimaltechie.com, specifying your: order number, item, reason for return, and photos (if defective).
- b) Await our return authorisation and instructions.
- c) Package the item securely (in original packaging) and send it to the designated return address. You are responsible for the shipping cost unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped or defective product).
- d) Once we receive and inspect the item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your return.
Refunds
If your return is approved:
- Refunds will be issued via your original payment method within [5-10 business days] (bank-processing times may vary).
- Shipping costs (original or return shipping) are not refundable unless the return is due to our error.
- If only part of a purchase is returned, refund may be pro-rata less any applicable shipping/restocking fees.
Exchanges

Faulty / Defective Goods
If the product is faulty, damaged on arrival, or not as described:
